Since the ccid is such a safe way of identifying a person, we plan to give the possibility to link other personal information to it such as

This information would be stored in a particular directory by the person concerned or on her/his request and integrated into the phone book by the server.

The criteria what to allow in this context will not be what is technically possible but what can be managed in such a way that the data are up-to-date.
