VMS 6.2 on VXCERN

VMS 6.2 was installed on the VXCERN cluster on 2 March.

A full list of the new features offered by this system can be obtained with the command HELP V62_FEATURES. The main new capabilities are:

BOOT and LOGIN have been added as keywords to the /BEFORE and /SINCE qualifiers of many commands.
MAIL supports partly the Internet format for user addresses. You may now send mail using the address format USER@NODE.ORG.DOMAIN. Use the MAILFWD command for this purpose:

MAILFWD USER@NODE.ORG.DOMAIN
